DR. RYAN SPIVAK

Dr. Ryan Spivak is a leading plastic and reconstructive surgeon recognized for his surgical innovation, clinical rigor, and transformative contributions to aesthetic and reconstructive care. A graduate of the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Spivak completed his residency at the prestigious University of Southern California, where he trained under pioneers in the field and quickly distinguished himself for both technical skill and visionary thinking.

Over the past decade, Dr. Spivak has developed a reputation as a surgeon who not only delivers exceptional results, but also redefines what’s possible in awake body contouring. He is the creator of proprietary techniques and surgical systems that have raised the bar for safety, consistency, and natural outcomes—approaches that are now emulated by practitioners across the industry. His hands-on training programs and quality assurance protocols have shaped the clinical culture at multiple high-volume practices and have directly influenced the standards of care in outpatient aesthetic surgery.

EXCEPTIONAL TALENT

DR. NEIL VRANIS

Neil Vranis, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills with extensive experience in body contouring, liposuction, and high-definition liposculpture. His path to this work was deliberate and unusually rigorous. He completed his undergraduate education at Johns Hopkins University, graduating with honors, and earned his medical degree at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where he was a scholarship recipient and conducted research at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. He then trained in plastic and reconstructive surgery at NYU Langone Health, one of the country's most competitive and highly ranked training programs. That foundation allows him to approach the body as an integrated three-dimensional form rather than a series of isolated treatment areas.

Following residency, Dr. Vranis completed an aesthetic surgery fellowship in Beverly Hills, training under a group of the field's most recognized surgeons and, most formatively, under world-renowned body contouring surgeon Dr. Ashkan Ghavami. Under Dr. Ghavami's mentorship he refined the techniques that define modern body contouring: VASER-assisted and high-definition liposuction, athletic etching, circumferential contouring, structural fat grafting, and gluteal augmentation and reshaping.  He has had the privilege of operating on numerous celebrities, entertainers, and public figures who require both an exceptional aesthetic result and complete discretion.  More importantly, he brings that same standard of precision and privacy to every patient who walks through the door.

Dr. Vranis is also an active academic voice in the specialty. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters spanning body contouring, liposuction technique, fat grafting, gluteal augmentation, safety, and aesthetic outcomes, and he presents regularly at national plastic surgery meetings. He served as a co-editor of Gluteal Augmentation, an issue of Clinics in Plastic Surgery (Elsevier), a definitive reference that surgeons around the world now use to guide their approach to gluteal shaping and safe fat transfer. Contributing to the literature at this level means his operative decisions are informed not just by experience, but by the evidence he helps generate and evaluate.

What patients tend to describe first, though, is not the credentials. Dr. Vranis is deeply empathetic, and he understands that the decision to change one's body is personal, often long-considered, and sometimes vulnerable. He listens carefully to what they actually want, and tells them honestly what surgery can and cannot achieve.  His goal in every case is a natural, proportionate, athletic contour that looks like the best version of the patient rather than an operated one, delivered with the kind of attention and follow-through that makes the entire experience feel supported from start to finish.
