questions.
Will Reals™ lift my breasts?
Not much. Fat transfer mainly adds volume. Filling the upper breast can make breasts look perkier, but it won't lift a very droopy breast. We don't perform surgical breast lifts, which need general anesthesia.
Reals™ works well if your nipples aren't too low, and it pairs well with a lift done before or after. Your surgeon will tell you which fits your goals.
Can I do a BBL and Reals™ at the same time?
Usually not. About 30% of transferred fat is naturally reabsorbed, so we place extra in each area. Very few people have enough fat for both at once.
Recovery also conflicts: after Reals™ you sleep on your back, and after a BBL you stay off it. We recommend two separate procedures so each area gets the best result. Your surgeon will advise on your situation.
Does fat transfer to the breasts increase cancer risk?
No. Breast fat transfer was first developed for reconstruction after cancer, and research has found it doesn't increase the risk of breast cancer or of cancer returning.
Will it affect my mammograms?
Mammograms stay reliable. Fat transfer can occasionally leave small calcifications, but they're harmless, and radiologists can tell them apart from the patterns linked to cancer.
Keep up your routine screenings and tell your radiologist you've had a fat transfer, and when.
Can I breastfeed in the future?
Yes. Fat is placed around the milk glands, not in them, and none of our entry points are on the nipple. The glands and ducts stay intact.
Will my nipple sensation change?
It shouldn't. We don't cut near the nipple, so its nerve supply isn't disturbed. You may have temporary numb spots where the cannula passed, which settle as you heal.
Is there a risk of fat embolism?
Essentially none. Fat embolism is linked to large veins in the buttock region. The area of the breast where we place fat doesn't have those vessels.
What happens to stretch marks I already have?
Fat transfer doesn't cause stretch marks, but adding volume can make existing ones a little more visible as the skin expands. We show unedited photos so you know what to expect.
I want my implants out. Can you help?
We don't remove implants or do surgical breast reductions, because both need general anesthesia. We can recommend surgeons who specialize in explants.
About 3 months after your explant, we can restore volume with Reals™. Many patients come to us for exactly that.
What does it cost?
Our Core package is $15,000. With the Heartfelt November discount, you can now sign up for $11,995. Your package includes All-Around Abs™ and your choice of BBL or Reals™. Extra areas are priced as add-ons. See every price. Your consultant confirms your exact quote.
